NNPCL HELICOPTER CRASH: PRESIDENT TINUBU SYMPAYHISES WITH THE NNPC BOARD AND FAMILIES OF VICTIMS ONBOARD.

Search and rescue efforts have been stepped up for the passengers of the tragic helicopter that crashed into the Atlantic on Thursday in Port-Harcourt, close to Bonny Finima, under the direction of President Bola Tinubu.

To transport some contract employees to the NNPC facility FPSO—NUIMS ANTAN, NNPC Limited hired the East Winds Aviation-operated helicopter, registered as 5NBQG.

The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, and other pertinent agencies are urged by President Tinubu to join the rescue effort and offer all necessary assistance to military officers engaged in various operations in the area.

Sincere condolences are extended by the President to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Board, employees, and families of all those confirmed dead in the accident.

The Almighty God will comfort the families of the three deceased souls and grant them eternal rest, President Tinubu prays fervently.
