The Head of Civil Service of the Federation Mrs DidI Esther Walson-Jack remains a pace setter in quality service delivery the legendray event has proven her unwavering support and total commitment.

The Head of Service spoke on how to respond to 21st century challenges, rapid urbanization, digital disruption, climate change, global pandemics, complex citizen demands, and now the generational call for equity, inclusion, and climate justice.

In her words “To address this movement, we must rejuvenate, innovate, and accelerate. These three words are not just the theme of this conference, they are its agenda. We must rejuvenate to reveal the spirit, skill, and structure of the civil service.

“This means attracting non-talent, building leadership pipelines, empowering women and marginalized groups, and earning public trust through values-based service.

She further urged that Bureaucracy must not mean stagnation. We should not forget how services are delivered, and how Data and Technology are perfoming to serve people better.

“Time is no longer a luxury. Citizens are waiting, Climate is changing and resources are limited. We must move from plans to implementation, from ideas to measurable change and do so with urgency. I would be remiss if I could not share with you the progress we have made in the Nigerian Civil Service and the commitments that lie ahead”. Jack said.

Accoring to her Civil Service is being automated, transitioning to a paperless service through the deployment of an Enterprise Content Management System,, saying HCSF has introduced a Performance Management System PMS that brings individual KPIs to national goals.

Our training system is undergoing a redesign. especially the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria and the Public Service Institute of Nigeria for the development of high-impact digital capabilities. Those are not just goals; they are intentional.
