The Kwara State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has felicitated Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on his 65th birthday, describing him as a leader whose developmental strides have rekindled hope in the state.

In a statement signed by CAN Secretary, Apostle Barr. Shina Ibiyemi, the association’s Chairman, Bishop Sunday Timothy Adewole, extended warm wishes to the governor, who also serves as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.

Bishop Adewole noted that birthdays are significant moments to reflect on God’s mercy, protection, and the gift of life.

He commended Governor Abdulrazaq for his administration’s numerous programmes and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Kwarans.

He further described the governor, who holds the title of Sardauna of Ilorin, as a pragmatic leader whose policies and projects have positively impacted various sectors in the state.

“The leadership of Governor Abdulrazaq has touched many aspects of development, and we urge him not to relent in addressing pressing issues, especially security challenges,” Bishop Adewole said.

As the governor marks another year, CAN wished him continued strength, wisdom, and good health in his service to the people of Kwara State.
